On this page, you will find all the resources that we use for a Polar Express Theme Night. The first section is General Supplies that we use for most of our organized activities. General Supplies

Scotch Brand Pro Thermal Laminator

I LOVE this laminator! I use it on all the items that I want to over and over again. One of my favorite features is that it uses both 3 mil and 5 mil (thicker) pouches.

Cardstock 8.5″ x 11″, 300 sheets

I always keep a ream of white cardstock on hand with grandkids around. They always want to do crafts when we are together.

Dual Tip Sharpie Markers

These markers are great for all kinds of projects. With both fine point and broad tip writing ends, they work for all the fun crafts you and the grandkids want to do.

Hole Punch with Comfort Handle

I’ve had a few different types of hole punches, but this one is by far the BEST! The hand is soft and doesn’t hurt your hand when you squeeze it to punch through multiple layers.

Scotch Thermal 3 mil Laminating Pouches, 100-pack

These are 3 mil laminating sheets that work with the laminator above. These pouches are a bit thinner than the 5 mil ones but they are great for standard protection.

Scotch Thermal 5 mil Laminating Pouches, 100-pack

These 5 mil pouches are a bit more heavy duty than the 3 mil pouches. They are great for protecting those items that get a lot of use. *Always check pricing on the 50-pack vs. the 100-pack.

Colored Cardstock, 75 sheet pack

Always have on hand lots of colored cardstock heavy paper. This pack has several different colors to fit about any need.

Colored Paper, 150 sheets

Having plenty of colored craft paper is a MUST at our house. This pack has a great assortment of colors that will work for most of your craft projects.

Snowflakes Christmas Cookies Ornaments

This sweet cookie ornament comes in individual craft kits. They come in sets of 12 complete kits. Some adult supervision is required. After all, you don’t want to leave kids & glitter alone.

Foam Ball Snowmen Craft Kits

These cute little snowmen make for a fun craft for kids. Just take note that the pieces are a bit small for tiny hands. Also, we recommend using hot glue instead of regular school glue. Enough to make 6 snowmen.

Hot Cocoa Thumbprint Ornaments

This craft is especially fun to commemorate a Polar Express night. Let the kids create their own mug of cocoa with their name and thumbprint. There are enough supplies to make 12 mugs.

Easy & Adorable Tealight Snowman Oranaments

This is a super easy tutorial. These cute little snowmen are very easy to make and have fun little light up noses! All the supplies needed and instructions can be found at Splendry.com.

Origami Boxes

Gatheringbeauty.com shows us how to make these simple little boxes. These boxes are great for sending the kids home with a reminder of the evening. Remember to put the bell and note inside the box for the kids to take home. OR you could have the kids make the boxes.

Silver Jingle Bells
