And I know exactly what it's like to spend too much mental and physical energy putting together a weekend camp for the grandchildren.
In fact, I was ready to give up ever doing any kind of camp or other big activity with my grandchildren ever again, because it took too much time, energy, and brain power - all things which were in short supply for me.
That first year was chaos. As willing as my hubby was to help during camp, all the planning and organizing fell to me in the days and weeks leading up to the actual camp days. I was drained before camp even started!
